Hello! My name is John, and I am the owner of Mile Hi Fabrication.

Mile Hi Fabrication is a custom welding and fabrication shop based in Golden, Colorado serving Jefferson County and the surrounding areas since 2023.

My father taught trade work, and I had a good foundation in welding from a young age. Growing up in Northern Idaho, I moved to Seattle in 2019 to pursue custom architectural welding on a larger scale. After a short stint back in Idaho, I moved to Colorado in 2020 for a fresh start in an area that supported the recreation and activities that I enjoyed! In the 6 years that I have been in Colorado I have found myself focusing on several different aspects of custom welding. I worked for a shop doing geometry and suspension work converting Ford Econoline vans to 4 wheel drive, and I worked in a architectural millwork shop doing custom pieces for high residential and commercial spaces.

I always had the dream of having my own small shop and being able to combine my years of experience in different facets of fabrication. In early 2023, I was laid off due to a lack of work and decided to start renting a space to apply the 10 plus years of experience and try to freelance. 3 years later, and we’re still here!

Focused on quality, and high attention to detail, Mile Hi Fabrication does custom projects, architectural railing and gates, machinery fixes, and everything in between.
